Green Moong Dal Makhani Recipe – Green Moong Dal Makhani (Recipe In Hindi)

Green Moong Dal Makhani is a delicious dal which is made at every dhaba. All Indian spices are added to it and cream further enhances its taste. You can make this dal even when you have guests at your house.  Green moong dal, tomato, ginger, green chilli, turmeric powder, cumin powder, whole black pepper, cardamom powder, oil, cream, coriander, salt   1 cup green moong dal 1 tomato, puree 1 inch ginger, grate 2 green chillies, chop finely 1 tsp turmeric powder 1/2 tsp cumin powder 1 tsp whole black pepper, crush 1 tsp cardamom Powder 1 teaspoon oil 1/4 cup cream 5 sprigs of coriander, finely chopped Salt as per taste     10   40     To make green moong dal makhani, first soak the moong dal in 3 cups of water for 2 hours. Put this dal in a pressure cooker with water and salt. Cook for 3 whistles. Turn off the gas and let the pressure release on its own. Now heat oil in a pan. Add ginger in it and let it cook for 10 seconds. After 10 seconds, add tomato, green chilli, turmeric powder, black pepper powder, cumin powder and let it cook for 1 minute. After 1 minute add dal and some water. Cover the pan and let it cook for 15 minutes. After 10 minutes add cream and green coriander. Mix and let it cook for 5 more minutes. Serve Green Moong Dal Makhani with Bhindi Masala and Phulka for lunch.
