Vegetable Uttapam Recipe – Vegetable Uttapam (Recipe In Hindi)

Uttapam is a famous breakfast recipe of South India. It is slightly thicker than dosa and is served with chutney and sambar. You can make different types of Uttapam. Tomato, onion or any vegetable can be added to uttapam.  Idli dosa mix, onion, capsicum (green), carrot, tomato, green chilli, coriander, oil   1 cup Idli Dosa Mixture 1/4 cup Onion, finely chopped 1/4 cup Capsicum (green), finely chopped 1/4 cup Carrot, finely chopped 1 Tomato, finely chopped 2 Green chillies, finely chopped 2 Tablespoon coriander, finely chopped Oil, as per requirement     10   10     To make Vegetable Uttapam, first put the dosa mixture in a bowl. Finely chop all the vegetables and keep them aside. Now heat a non-stick tawa (griddle) and add some oil. After the oil is heated, pour the Idli Dosa mixture in the center of the pan and make round shaped uttapam. Keep it a little thick. Add all the chopped vegetables one by one on top, add some oil on the side. Let it cook from below. After some time turn the uttapam. Add some oil and let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Serve hot. Serve Vegetable Uttapam with Mixed Vegetable Sambar and Coconut Chutney for breakfast.
