Sarson Ka Saag (Recipe In Hindi)

Sarson ka saag is a very traditional winter recipe from North India that uses greens like mustard leaves, spinach leaves and bathua. The most important green in this vegetable is mustard, which is also called mustard. Sometimes I make it with spinach and fenugreek or sometimes just with spinach.  Mustard, Spinach, Bathua, Ginger, Garlic, Onion, Green Chilli, Turmeric Powder, Cinnamon Powder, Cumin Powder, Salt, Oil, Cheese   500 grams mustard, wash and cut 250 grams spinach, wash and cut 250 grams bathua, wash and cut 2 inches ginger, grate 3 cloves garlic, chop finely 1 onion, cut thin 3 green chillies, cut from the middle 1 /2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder 1 teaspoon cumin powder Salt as per taste 1 teaspoon oil 200 grams cheese, cut     25   30     To make Sarson Ka Saag, first wash mustard, spinach and bathua and cook them in a cooker with water and salt. Cook for 1 whistle. Keep the cooker under water and release the pressure. Let it cool. Add these vegetables and make puree or mash them. Now heat oil in a pan. Add ginger, garlic, onion and green chilli in it. Cook until onion becomes soft. After the onion becomes soft, add green vegetable puree, turmeric powder, cinnamon powder and cumin powder. Cook for 7 to 8 minutes and turn off the gas. Serve sarson ka saag with makki ki roti and masala buttermilk.
