Mint is considered good for our body because it detoxifies our body. This is a simple recipe in which mint has been used. It can be prepared in less time so can be prepared for daily meals also. Yellow Moong Dal, Red Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder, Cumin, Asafoetida, Ghee, Mint, Water, Salt 1/2 cup yellow moong dal 1/2 tsp red chilli powder 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 1/4 tsp cumin asafoetida 1 tbsp ghee 2 tbsp mint, chopped Water, salt as per taste 10 25 To make mint moong dal, first put moong dal, 1 cup water and turmeric in a pressure cooker and cook for 2 whistles. After the pressure is released, open the cooker and add 1-1/2 cups of water and salt. Turn on the gas and let it boil for 3 to 4 minutes. Now we will make its tadka. Heat ghee or oil in a small pan. Add cumin and asafoetida in it. After 10 seconds, add mint leaves and red chilli powder. Add this tempering to the dal, mix and let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes more. Turn off the gas and serve hot. Serve Pudina Moong Dal with Besan Arbi Roast and Phulka for lunch.
