Mushroom Pasanda Recipe (Recipe In Hindi)

Mushroom Pasanda is a delicious creamy curry that uses mushrooms, spices, saffron and cream. Almonds are also added to it which makes it even more delicious. You can also prepare this vegetable for any festival.  Button mushroom, onion, tomato, almond, garlic, ginger, green chilli, cumin, cinnamon, bay leaf, whole black pepper, turmeric powder, coriander powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, garam masala powder, kasoori methi, sugar, cream, saffron milk, butter, oil, salt, water   500 grams button mushrooms 2 onions, finely chopped 300 grams tomatoes, chopped 20 almonds, soaked, peeled and chopped 6 cloves of garlic, finely chopped 1-1/2 inch ginger, finely chopped 2 green chillies, chopped 1 1 teaspoon cumin seeds 1 inch cinnamon 1 bay leaf 6 whole black peppers 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon coriander powder 1-1/2 teaspoon Kashmiri red chili powder 1 teaspoon garam masala powder 1 teaspoon kasoori methi 1 teaspoon Sugar 1/4 cup cream 1 saffron, a pinch 3 tablespoons milk 1 tablespoon butter 3 tablespoons oil Salt, as per taste Water, as per use     10   45     To make Mushroom Pasanda, first soak saffron in 3 tablespoons of hot milk. Now heat oil in a pan. Add ginger, onion and garlic to it and cook until the onion becomes soft. Now add tomatoes, almonds, green chillies and cook till tomatoes become soft. Turn off the gas and let the mixture cool. Now put it in a mixer grinder and grind it. Our paste is ready. Now wash the mushrooms thoroughly. Cut the bigger mushrooms and leave the smaller ones as is. Now heat butter in a pan. Add mushrooms to it and let it cook for 6 to 7 minutes. Keep mixing and keep aside. Heat oil in the same pan. Add cumin, cinnamon, bay leaves and black pepper to it. Let them cook for 30 seconds. Now add the ground onion-tomato mixture and cook for 3 to 4 minutes. After this add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt and mix. Let it cook for 4 to 5 minutes. Now add mushrooms and 3/4 cup hot water. Mix everything and let it cook for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes add sugar, garam masala powder, kasuri methi, saffron milk and cream. Mix and let it cook for next 3 to 4 minutes. Switch off the gas and serve. Serve Mushroom Pasanda with Tomato Onion Cucumber Raita and Phulka for lunch.
