Chole Pindi Recipe – Chole Pindi (Recipe In Hindi)

Chole Pindi is a delicious recipe from North India in which chickpeas are given a sour and spicy taste. This taste comes from the addition of ginger and lemon in this vegetable. You can use any chickpea or black gram in this vegetable. You can also pack this vegetable in your lunch box.  Chickpeas or chickpeas, cardamom, onion, cinnamon, ginger, green chilli, tomato puree, turmeric powder, anardana powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, dry mango powder, red chilli powder, oil, salt, ginger, lemon   1 cup chickpeas or chickpeas, soaked overnight 2 cardamoms 1 onion, finely chopped 1 cinnamon stick 1 inch ginger, finely chopped (for garnish) 2 green chillies, thinly chopped 1/2 cup tomato puree 1/2 small 1 teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon anardana powder 1 teaspoon coriander powder 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon dried mango powder 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder Oil, or ghee (as per use) Salt as per taste for garnish 1 inch ginger, thinly sliced ​​Lemon, chopped     500   120     To make Chole Pindi, first put the chickpeas in a pressure cooker along with water and salt as per requirement. Cook till 5 whistles. Let the pressure release on its own and keep it tight. Now heat oil in a pan. Add onion, green chilli, tomato, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, dry mango powder, red chilli powder, cinnamon and cardamom. Cook until onion and tomato are cooked. Now add cooked chickpeas in it and let it cook for 5 minutes. After cooking, turn off the gas and garnish with green coriander. Also place finely chopped ginger and lemon on top. Serve Chole Pindi with Bhindi Raita, Gram Flour and Chilli Sabzi and Phulka for lunch.
