Mirchi Pakodi Recipe – Mirchi Pakodi (Recipe In Hindi)

Mirchi Pakori is a famous street chaat. You can make it anytime. Best starter for parties and perfect snack in rainy season. This chaat, sweet, sour and spicy, is made from green chillies and gram flour and is filled with tamarind stuffing.  Green chilli, tamarind paste, jaggery, celery, fennel powder, gram flour, red chilli powder, salt, gram flour, baking soda, turmeric powder, celery, water, onion, peanuts, coriander, lemon juice, chaat masala powder   For stuffing: 6 green chillies, big ones, 2 tablespoons tamarind paste, 2 tablespoons jaggery, 1/4 teaspoon celery, 1/4 teaspoon fennel powder, 3 tablespoons gram flour, roasted, 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder, salt as per taste. For batter: 1-1/2 cup gram flour 1/2 teaspoon baking soda Turmeric powder, a pinch of celery, a pinch of water, other ingredients as required Onion, (finely chopped) Peanuts as required, masala peanuts Green coriander as required, (finely chopped) as required Lemon juice, as required Chaat masala powder, as required     10   30     Mix the tamarind paste and jaggery. Cut the green chilli by making a slit in the middle so that you can fill the stuffing and take out the seeds. Mix the tamarind, jaggery paste and all the stuffing ingredients in a bowl and stuff it in the green chilli. In another bowl, gram flour Prepare the batter by mixing all the ingredients. Heat the oil in the pan. Dip the stuffed green chillies in the gram flour batter and fry them in the oil on medium flame till they become brown and crispy. Fry all the chillies and take them in a plate. After it cools down a bit, cut it into pieces. Take it and pan fry it again with some oil in the pan. Take it out in a serving plate and sprinkle onion, spicy peanuts, green coriander, lemon juice and chaat masala and serve immediately. Serve Mirchi Pakoda with masala tea during evening tea.
