Gujarati Style Sev Tomato Sabzi Recipe – Sev Tamatar Ki Sabzi (Recipe In Hindi)

Gujarati Style Sev Tomato Ki Sabzi is a Gujarati recipe in which sev is cooked in sour tomato gravy. You can also prepare this vegetable during Jain festival. Onion and garlic are also not used in this.  Tomato, ginger, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, asafoetida, green chilli, mustard seeds, cumin, jaggery, curry leaves, sev, oil, salt   4 cups tomatoes, chopped 1 tsp ginger, grated 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1/2 tsp red chilli powder 1/4 tsp asafoetida 1 green chilli, chopped 1/2 tsp mustard seeds 1/2 tsp 1 teaspoon cumin seeds 1 tablespoon jaggery 1 sprig curry leaves, finely chopped 1 cup sev 2 teaspoons oil Salt as per taste     0   15     To make Gujarati style Sev Tomato Sabzi, first heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and let it cook for 10 seconds. After 10 seconds add curry leaves, asafoetida, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, ginger, tomato and salt. Mix everything well. After 2 minutes add 1/4 cup water and jaggery. Cover the pan and let it cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Add sev before eating and serve. Serve Gujarati Style Sev Tomato Sabzi with Gujarati Kadhi and Bhakri for lunch.
