It also helps in lowering the cholesterol.  Green beans (French Beans), Garlic, Dry Red Chillies, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Salt   300 grams Green beans (French Beans) , cut into inch pieces and blanched 10 cloves Garlic , thinly sliced 2 Dry Red Chillies , de-seeded and roughly torn 1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil Salt , to taste     10   5     To begin making Garlic Toasted Beans Salad Recipe, cut the ends of the beans, cut them into 1 inch pieces.Now, blanch the beans with enough water with salt for 2 minutes and transfer it into cold water to retain its crunch.Heat olive oil in a pan, add the sliced garlic and roughly torn red chillies and saute till garlic turns golden brown and releases all its flavour into the oil.Drain and add the blanched beans into the pan and give it a good stir.Season with salt, saute for a minute and turn off the heat.
