Dry Methi Malai Matar (Recipe In Hindi)

Methi Malai Matar is a delicious and creamy dish which uses cashew nuts and fresh cream. You can prepare this vegetable for your day or dinner. You can also pack this vegetable for your lunch box or make it for pot luck parties.  Fenugreek, green peas, cream, oil, bay leaf, cinnamon, cumin, onion, garlic, ginger, green chilli, tomato, tomato ketchup, garam masala powder, red chilli powder, salt   300 grams fenugreek, finely chopped 1/2 cup green peas 2 tablespoons cream 1-1/2 tablespoons oil 1 bay leaf 1/2 cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon cumin 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped 1 big 1 teaspoon garlic, finely chopped 1/4 teaspoon ginger, paste 2 green chilies, chopped 1/2 cup tomato, finely chopped 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder salt to taste     10   30     To make Dry Fenugreek Malai Matar, first wash the fenugreek and chop it finely. Take green peas and boil them in hot water for 2 minutes. Now heat oil in a pan. Add fenugreek to it and cook until it becomes soft. Take it out in a separate bowl and keep it aside. Add some more oil. Add bay leaves, cinnamon, cumin seeds and cook. After 30 seconds, add garlic, onion and green chillies. Cook until onion becomes soft. Once it becomes soft, add tomatoes to it and let it cook for 2 minutes. Now add all the spices in it and let it cook for a few more seconds. After a few seconds, add cream and let it cook for 2 minutes. After that add fenugreek and peas and mix for 1 minute. Add some tomato ketchup and mix well. Cover and let it cook for next 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, turn off the gas and serve. Serve Methi Malai Matar with Garlic Dal and Phulka for lunch.
