Chole Capsicum Masala Recipe (Recipe In Hindi)

Chole is capsicum masala North Indian style vegetable dish. It is made under different names all over India. In this, chickpeas, capsicum and cashew nuts are prepared in gravy. It tastes great with cashews, chickpeas and capsicum. This gravy can also be eaten with roti, paratha or rice.  Kabuli Channa, Green Capsicum, Onion, Ginger Garlic Paste, Coriander Powder, Red Chilli Powder, Cumin Powder, Turmeric Powder, Kasuri Methi, Cashew, Tomato Puree, Oil, Salt   1 cup chickpeas, soaked and boiled 1 green capsicum, chopped 2 onions, finely chopped 2 teaspoons ginger garlic paste 2 teaspoons coriander powder 1 teaspoon red chili powder 1 teaspoon cumin powder 1/2 teaspoon turmeric Powder 1 teaspoon Kasoori Methi 1/2 cup Cashews 1 cup Tomato Puree Oil, Salt for cooking, as per taste     30   40     To make Chole Capsicum, soak cashew nuts in lukewarm water for 12-15 minutes. Heat oil in a pan and cook the onion until it turns brown. Add ginger garlic paste and cook for 1 minute. Add capsicum and saute for 2-3 minutes. Now add cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric and red chilli powder and fry. Take care that the masala does not burn. Add tomato puree and boiled gram along with 2 cups of water. Boil it for 5 minutes and let it cook till the spices get incorporated. Grind the soaked cashews. Add cashew paste to the curry along with salt and cook for 4-5 minutes. Add kasoori fenugreek and turn off the gas. Serve Chole Capsicum Masala with Phulka, rice and salad.
