Bottle gourd kheer (Recipe in Hindi)

Bottle gourd or bottle gourd, is a very healthy vegetable which is loaded with vitamins and minerals, like calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, vitamin A, C etc. This delicious and nutritious bottle gourd kheer is easy to make, which you can serve as a dessert after dinner.  Bottle gourd, milk, sugar, cardamom powder, dry fruits, ghee   1-1/2 cup bottle gourd, grated 2 cups milk 1/2 cup sugar 3/4 tsp cardamom powder Dry fruits, few (cashew nuts, raisins, almonds) 1 tsp ghee     10   25     To make bottle gourd kheer, first heat the milk. Heat ghee in a pan. Add grated bottle gourd to it and cook until it becomes soft. After it becomes soft, add milk in it, mix and reduce the flame. Keep mixing in between. After the milk thickens, add sugar, cardamom powder and dry fruits to it. Once the sugar melts, turn off the gas and garnish with dry fruits. Serve bottle gourd kheer as a sweet dish after eating. You can make this kheer also during festival time.
