Tomato Relish Recipe

Make your sandwiches and salads interesting with this delicious tangy and sweet chutney like relish recipe. Simple Ingredients are required to make this relish and stays in the fridge for upto 5 days.  Tomatoes, Onion, Red Wine Vinaigrette, Dried oregano, Garlic, Black pepper powder, Dijon Mustard, Cane sugar, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Salt   2 cups Tomatoes , chopped 1/2 Onion , finely chopped 1/2 cup Red Wine Vinaigrette 1/2 Dried oregano 2 cloves Garlic , minced 1/2 Black pepper powder 1/2 Dijon Mustard 3 tablespoon Cane sugar 2 to 3 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil Salt , to taste     0   30     To begin making the Tomato Relish Recipe, heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan. Add onions, garlic and saute it until translucent.Add the tomatoes, red wine vinegar and cook on low to medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes until its all softened and mushy.Cook further to see all the liquid is evaporating. Next, add mustard, black pepper powder, oregano, sugar and salt and cook until the sauce comes together.Turn off the heat, let the Tomato Relish Recipe cool and store it in the fridge in a glass container. Serve Tomato Relish as a dip or use it as a sauce while making sandwiches and rolls.
