Tamarind Chilli Potato Recipe

Flavorful and easy to make, you can make this Imli Chilli Aloo recipe for your house parties. Potato is mixed with sour and spicy spices which enhances its taste and flavour. You can also make it as a side dish with your food.  आलू, प्याज, इमली का पेस्ट, शक्कर, लहसुन, काजू, कढ़ी पत्ता, नमक, हरा धनिया, तेल, अजवाइन, लाल मिर्च   3 potatoes, boiled and chopped 1 onion, chopped 3 tbsp tamarind paste 1 tbsp sugar 4 cloves garlic, chopped 2 tbsp cashews, chopped 2 sprigs curry leaves Salt, as per taste 1 tbsp coriander, chopped Oil, as per requirement 1 tbsp celery 2 red chillies, fresh     20   30     To make Tamarind Chilli Potato Recipe, first boil the potatoes and keep them aside. Put potatoes in a pressure cooker along with water as required and cook for 5 whistles. Let the pressure release on its own, peel the potatoes and cut them. Keep it separately. Heat oil in a pan. Add potatoes in it and fry them till they turn golden brown. Remove from the pan and keep aside. Heat oil in the same pan. Add celery in it and let it splutter. Now add cashews to it and cook until it turns golden brown. Now add garlic and onion and cook until the onion becomes soft. Now add red chilli, curry leaves and cook for 1 minute. Now add tamarind paste, sugar, salt and mix. After 1 minute, add potatoes and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Turn off the gas and garnish with green coriander. Serve.
