Suran Fodi Recipe

Suran Fodi Recipe, is a vegetarian recipe made in Goa. In this, Suran is coated with semolina and pan fried. You can soak it in salt water before using it. While cutting auran, apply coconut oil on your hands, so that it can be cut easily.  सुरन, इमली का पेस्ट, नमक, लाल मिर्च पाउडर, हल्दी पाउडर, तेल, सूजी, चावल का आटा, लाल मिर्च पाउडर, हल्दी पाउडर, नमक   250 grams Suran 2 tbsp Tamarind paste 1 tbsp Salt 1 tsp Red chilli powder 1 tsp Turmeric powder 4 tbsp Oil, as per requirement to coat 2 tbsp Semolina 1 tbsp Rice flour 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp Salt     10   90     To make Suran Fodi recipe, first apply coconut oil on your hands. With the help of a knife, remove the skin of the suran. Cut the suran. Put 2 cups of water and salt in a bowl and mix. Add suran in it and keep it aside for 30 minutes. Wash the suran thoroughly after 30 minutes. Put it in a mixing bowl and also add tamarind paste in it. Mix well and keep aside for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, add red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix. In another bowl, add semolina, rice flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix. Heat oil on a pan. Add the suran to the semolina mixture and coat it well. Place this suran on the pan and cook it well from both the sides. Pour some oil on top and cook it from both the sides till it becomes crisp.
