Sobji Diye Bhaja Muger Dal Recipe

Dal is a dish which is made in every house in India and it is also added to the daily food because it has a very high amount of protein. Today we are making Bengali style dal here which you can serve with any vegetable and phulka.  पिली मूंग दाल, हल्दी पाउडर, गोभी, हरे मटर, हरा बीन्स, कद्दू, अदरक, जीरा, तेज पत्ता, दालचीनी, लॉन्ग, इलाइची, सुखी लाल मिर्च, शक्कर, घी, नमक   3/4 cup yellow moong dal 1 tsp turmeric powder 1 cup cauliflower, chopped 2 tbsp green peas, steamed 1/4 green beans, chopped 1/4 cup pumpkin, peeled and chopped 1 inch ginger, grated 1/2 tsp cumin 1 bay leaf 1/2 inch cinnamon 2 cloves 2 cardamoms 2 dried red chillies 1 tsp sugar 1 tbsp ghee Salt as per taste     10   40     To make Sobji Diy Bhaja Muger Dal recipe, first of all we will prepare spice powder. Grind cinnamon, cloves and cardamom in a bowl and keep aside. Now put moong dal in a pan and roast it well for 8 to 10 minutes. Turn off the gas and let the dal cool down. After it cools down, wash the dal thoroughly. Now put it in a pressure cooker along with water and turmeric powder as per requirement and cook till 2 to 3 whistles. Let the pressure release on its own and open the cooker. Take the pan and heat oil in it. Add cabbage, green beans, some salt, turmeric powder and cook until the vegetables become soft. Add ground powder into it, mix and turn off the gas. Add this cabbage mixture to the dal along with pumpkin and green peas and cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Switch off the gas and keep aside. Now for tempering, heat ghee in a tempering pan. Add cumin seeds, bay leaves, dried red chillies and let the cumin seeds splutter. Now add ginger to it and cook for 20 seconds. Add this tempering to the dal along with sugar, mix and cook the dal for 2 more minutes. Switch off the gas and serve.
