Rajasthani Pyaaz Ki Kadhi Recipe

Rajasthani Onion Kadhi Recipe is a simple recipe that you can make for winter dinner. It requires very few ingredients and can be made in a very short time. It is tempered twice which further enhances its taste and flavour.  दही, बेसन, हल्दी पाउडर, लाल मिर्च पाउडर, पानी, प्याज, अदरक, राइ, मेथी के दाने, हींग, घी, घी, जीरा, धनिये के बीज, सुखी लाल मिर्च, कढ़ी पत्ता   1 cup curd, beat well 2 tbsp gram flour 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp red chilli powder 1 cup water 1 onion, cut thin and straight 1 tbsp ginger, finely chopped 1 tsp mustard 1 /2 tsp fenugreek seeds Asafoetida, a pinch 1 tbsp ghee for tempering 1 tbsp ghee 1 tsp cumin 1 tsp coriander seeds 1 dry red chilli 1 sprig curry leaves     10   15     To make Rajasthani Onion Kadhi Recipe, first add curd, gram flour, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, water as per requirement in a bowl and mix well. Take care that there are no lumps. Heat ghee in a pan. Add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds and let the mustard seeds splutter. Add asafoetida, onion and cook till onion becomes soft. After onion becomes soft, add curry mixture, water as per requirement and let it boil. After boiling, reduce the gas flame, add salt and let the curry cook on low flame for 10 to 15 minutes. Turn off the gas and take out in a bowl. For the tempering, heat ghee in a tempering pan. Add cumin, coriander seeds in it and cook for 15 seconds. Now add curry leaves, dry red chillies and turn off the gas after 10 seconds. Add to the curry, mix and serve. Serve Rajasthani Onion Kadhi Recipe with Makki ki Roti and Sarso ke Saag. You can also serve it with rice and Kachumber salad.
