Potato Achari (Recipe In Hindi)

Achari Aloo is a sour, spicy dry side dish consisting of boiled potatoes cooked with achari masala. This vegetable can be served with paratha, roti or curd rice. This is a very simple side dish that gets prepared in less time.  Potato, asafoetida, cumin, dry red chilli, pickle, vinegar, sugar, oil   4 Potatoes 1/2 tsp Asafoetida 1 tsp Cumin 3 Dry Red Chillies 3 tbsp Pickles 2 tbsp Vinegar 1/2 tsp Sugar Oil, as per experiment     15   15     To make pickled potatoes, first wash the potatoes and boil them until half cooked. Remove its peel and cut it. Now heat oil in a pan. Add potatoes to it and cook until it turns slightly brown. Take out the potatoes and keep them separately. In the same pan, add asafoetida, cumin and dried red chillies. After 15 seconds add potatoes and pickles. Mix well. After mixing, add vinegar to it and let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes. After 3 minutes add sugar, some water and cook for 1 minute. Serve hot. Serve pickled potatoes with garlic dal and phulka for lunch.
