Peas Pulao Recipe

Matar Pulao Recipe is a delicious rice recipe in which rice is cooked with peas and whole spices. In this, bay leaves, cumin, cardamom, clove, star anise are used as spices. You can serve it with any dal or curry.  चावल, घी, जीरा, तेज पत्ता, स्टार अनीस, इलाइची, लॉन्ग, दालचीनी, प्याज, नमक, हरे मटर   1-1/2 cup rice 1 tbsp ghee 1/2 tsp cumin 1 bay leaf 1 star anise 2 cardamoms 2 cloves 1 inch cinnamon 1 onion, cut thin and straight Salt to taste 1/2 cup green peas     10   25     To make Matar Pulao recipe, first soak the rice in water for 20 minutes. Now heat ghee in a pressure cooker. Add bay leaves, cumin seeds, star anise, cardamom, clove and cinnamon and cook till the cumin seeds crackle. After the cumin seeds crackle, add onion and cook until the onion becomes soft. After the onion becomes soft, add peas and rice to it. Now add water as per requirement and close the cooker. Cook till 3 whistles and turn off the gas. Open the cooker and mix. Take out in a bowl and serve. Serve Matar Pulao Recipe with Paneer Butter Masala, Dal Makhani and Phulka for your weekend dinner.
