Paneer Do Pyaza Recipe – Paneer Do Pyaza (Recipe In Hindi)

Do Pyaza means two onions in Persian and the quantity of onion in this vegetable is double, hence this vegetable is called Paneer Do Pyaza. In this vegetable, onion is added at two places in the recipe. This vegetable is very popular in restaurants and is on the menu of most North Indian hotels.  Paneer, Oil, Onion, Tomato, Cumin, Cardamom, Ginger Garlic Paste, Turmeric Powder, Coriander Powder, Red Chilli Powder, Kasuri Methi, Garam Masala Powder, Cream, Salt   1 cup paneer, cut Oil, as per requirement 1-1/2 onion, cut 1 onion, cut 2-1/2 tomatoes, finely chopped 1 tsp cumin 2 cardamoms 1-1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp coriander powder 1-1/2 tsp red chilli powder 1 tsp kasoori methi 1/2 tsp garam masala powder 1/4 cup cream, heavy whipping Salt, as per taste     10   30     To make Paneer Do Pyaza, first heat oil in a pan. Add onions to it and cook until they become soft. After they become soft, take them out separately and keep them aside. Heat oil separately in a pan. Add cumin and cardamom in it and cook it for 10 seconds. Now add directly chopped onions to it and cook till it becomes soft. Add garlic ginger paste to it and cook for 1 minute. After 1 minute, add tomatoes and cook till they become soft. Add spices, kasoori methi, salt and mix well. Cook the gravy for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, add paneer, cooked onions and mix. Now add some cream in it and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
