Orange Rasam Recipe

Orange Rasam is a delicious rasam in which orange juice is mixed in it. Adding orange to rasam gives a sweet and sour taste to the rasam. Make this recipe and do tell us how you liked it?  अरहर दाल, टमाटर, संतरे का रस, निम्बू का रस, हल्दी पाउडर, नमक, हरा धनिया, हींग, ऑरेंज ज़ेस्ट, घी, राइ, पूरी काली मिर्च, जीरा, कढ़ी पत्ता, लाल मिर्च पाउडर, अरहर दाल   1/2 cup pigeon pea, cooked 2 tomatoes, chopped 1/2 cup orange juice 1 teaspoon lemon juice 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder Salt as per taste Coriander, chopped As per usage 1/4 tsp asafoetida 1 tsp orange zest for tempering 1 tsp ghee 1/2 tsp mustard for making rasam masala powder 1 tsp whole black pepper 2 tsp cumin 5 curry leaves 1 red chilli powder 2 teaspoon arhar dal     10   25     To make Orange Rasam recipe, first of all add 2 glasses of water, tomatoes, turmeric powder, asafoetida, salt and orange zest in a saucepan. Turn on the gas and let this mixture boil for 10 to 15 minutes. To make the rasam powder, heat a pan. Add black pepper, cumin, curry leaves, red chilli powder, arhar dal and cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Grind after it cools down. Keep it separately. After 10 to 15 minutes add cooked toor dal in it. Now add the ground masala of rasam powder in it. Mix well and let it cook for 4 to 5 minutes. After 4 to 5 minutes, turn off the gas. Now add orange juice, lemon juice and mix. Now we will make tadka for it. Heat ghee in a tadka pan. Add mustard seeds and let it splutter. Add this tempering to the rasam, mix and garnish with green coriander. Serve Orange Rasam Recipe with rice, beetroot thoran and papad for lunch.
