Mini Idli Upma Recipe

Idli upma is very easy. In this, idli is cut and cooked with everyday spices and this is a good way to use the leftover idli. Here we have used small idlis but you can also make this upma by cutting bigger idlis. Green chilli and onion are also used in it, which makes it even more delicious.  इडली, प्याज, राइ, सफ़ेद उरद दाल, हरी मिर्च, अदरक, कढ़ी पत्ता, हल्दी पाउडर, तिल का तेल, हरा धनिया, नमक   20 idlis, mini idlis 10 onions, finely chopped 1/2 tsp mustard seeds 1/2 tsp white urad dal 1 tsp green chilli, chopped 1 tsp ginger, finely chopped 5 curry leaves, finely chopped 1/ 4 tsp turmeric powder 1 tbsp sesame oil, or any oil Green coriander, a little, finely chopped Salt as per taste     10   15     To make Mini Idli Upma Recipe, first heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal and cook till the dal turns golden. Now add onion to it and cook till it becomes soft. Now add curry leaves, green chillies, ginger and cook for 30 seconds. Now add turmeric powder, mini idlis and mix well. Lower the flame, cover the pan and let it cook on low flame for 3 minutes. Switch off the gas, garnish with green coriander and serve. Serve Mini Idli Upma Recipe with masala tea or ginger tea for morning breakfast.
