Maharashtrian Kadhi Recipe

Maharashtrian Kadhi Recipe is a creamy curd curry in which curd is cooked with gram flour. This kadhi is perfect for summer days as it provides relief from the heat. Kadhi is made in different states, but Maharashtrian kadhi is slightly sweet.  हंग दही, बेसन, शक्कर, राइ, जीरा, अदरक, हरी मिर्च, कढ़ी पत्ता, हरा धनिया, हींग   1 cup hung curd 4 tbsp gram flour 1 tbsp sugar 1 tsp mustard 1 tsp cumin 1 inch ginger, grated 1 green chilli, chopped 1 sprig curry leaves, chopped 1 sprig green coriander, chopped Asafoetida, a pinch     10   25     To make Maharashtrian Kadhi recipe, first of all add curd, gram flour in a bowl and mix well. Now add 1 cup of water in it and keep mixing without any lumps. Now heat oil in a saucepan. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and let the cumin seeds splutter. Now add asafoetida, green chilli, ginger, curry leaves and cook for 20 seconds. After 20 seconds, add curd and gram flour mixture and let it boil on low flame. After it thickens, add salt and sugar and keep mixing. After 2 minutes, turn off the gas and garnish with green coriander. Serve. Serve Maharashtrian Kadhi Recipe with rice, onion bhindi sabzi and phulka for lunch.
