Karela Masala Sabzi Recipe (Recipe In Hindi)

Bitter gourd masala is a simple recipe in which bitter gourd is cooked with everyday spices. This bitter gourd is steamed and cooked with everyday spices.  Bitter gourd, onion, garlic, ginger, tomato, turmeric powder, dry mango powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder, salt, red chilli powder, jaggery, oil   3 bitter gourd, deseeded and thinly chopped 1 onion, thinly chopped 2 cloves of garlic, grated 1 inch ginger, grated 2 tomatoes, finely chopped 1 teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon dry mango powder 1 teaspoon garam masala powder 1 teaspoon Tablespoon coriander powder Salt, as per taste Red chilli powder, as per taste 1 teaspoon jaggery or sugar Oil, as per use     10   15     To make bitter gourd masala vegetable, first put the bitter gourd in a pressure cooker along with 2 or 3 tablespoons of water, salt and turmeric powder. Mix and cook till 1 whistle. Switch off the gas and keep it under cold water, so that the pressure gets released. Now heat oil in a pan. Add onion, ginger and garlic in it. Cook until onion becomes soft. After the onion becomes soft, add turmeric powder, mango powder, red chilli powder, salt, garam masala powder and coriander powder along with tomatoes. Cook until tomatoes become soft. After the tomatoes become soft, add ripe bitter gourd to it and cover the pan. Let it cook for 10 minutes. Turn off the gas and garnish with green coriander. Serve Karela Masala with Rajasthani Kadhi and Phulka for lunch.
