Vegetarian Tandoori Kebab Recipe

These kebabs make perfect appetizers for your parties and can be prepared ahead of time.  Garam masala powder, Cumin powder (Jeera), Red Chilli flakes, Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder, Kasuri Methi (Dried Fenugreek Leaves), Turmeric powder (Haldi), Curd (Dahi / Yogurt), Gram flour (besan), Ginger, Garlic, Mint Leaves (Pudina), Salt, Oil, Potato (Aloo), Green zucchini, Purple yam, Red Bell pepper (Capsicum), Green Bell Pepper (Capsicum), Onions, Button mushrooms, Lemon juice, Chaat Masala Powder   Ingredients for the Tandoori Marinade 1/4 teaspoon Garam masala powder 1/4 teaspoon Cumin powder (Jeera) , roasted 1 pinch Red Chilli flakes , smoked 1 pinch Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder 1/4 teaspoon Kasuri Methi (Dried Fenugreek Leaves) 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi) 1 cup Curd (Dahi / Yogurt) 1 teaspoon Gram flour (besan) 1 inch Ginger , grated 2 cloves Garlic , grated 1 Mint Leaves (Pudina) , finely chopped Salt , to taste 1 teaspoon Oil Main Ingredients (Your Choice of Vegetables for the Kebab) 1 Potato (Aloo) , boiled and cut into cubes 1 Green zucchini , diced 1/2 cup Purple yam , boiled and cut into cubes 1 Red Bell pepper (Capsicum) , diced 1 Green Bell Pepper (Capsicum) , diced 2 Onions , diced 1 Button mushrooms Ingredients for seasoning 2 teaspoons Lemon juice Chaat Masala Powder     10   40     To begin making the Vegetarian Tandoori Kebab Recipe, combine all the marinade ingredients into a bowl and stir well to combine.Add in the main vegetable ingredients, the mushrooms, onions,capsicums, yam, zucchini and potatoes together in a bowl and coat them well with tandoori marinade.Cover and allow the vegetables to marinate in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. After couple of hours of marination, insert the vegetables into wooden skewers and arrange them on grill rack of the oven or on a stove top grill. Soak the vegetable skewers in cold water for half an hour before using them.Grill the Tandoori Kebabs on high for around 20 mins.Keep turning sides of it in between 2-3 times to grill them evenly.
