Chanar Paturi Recipe – Chanar Paturi (Recipe In Hindi)

Chanar Paturi is a delicious Bengali recipe in which paneer is cooked with mustard, coconut and green chillies. This recipe is made in every Bengali household and is also prepared on festivals.  Paneer, mustard, coconut, green chilli, mustard oil, turmeric powder, lemon juice, sugar, salt, pumpkin leaves   250 grams paneer 1/4 cup mustard 2 tablespoons coconut, grated 3 green chillies, chopped 3 teaspoons mustard oil 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon sugar Salt as per taste 2 pumpkin leaves     10   40     To make Chanar Paturi, first of all add mustard seeds, 1 teaspoon water, coconut, green chillies in a bowl and grind them. Keep it separately. Add this paste, cheese, salt, lemon juice, turmeric powder and sugar in a bowl and mix. Now pour some pumpkin leaves and some mustard oil on it. Now pour this cheese mixture on the leaf and cover it with another leaf. Tie both the leaves together with thread or toothpick. Now pour water into the steamer. Place the prepared leaf parcels in a steamer and steam for 5 to 10 minutes. Serve Chanar Paturi with Cholar Dal and Bengali Lucchi for lunch.
